On March 29, 2021 at 17:00 on the ZOOM platform, Associate Professor of the Department of Biotechnology M. Zakirova held an open lesson on the discipline "Pharmaceutical Biotechnology" on the topic "Antibiotics from microorganisms and improving the efficiency of their production by biotechnological methods" for students in the direction 5510600-Industrial Pharmacy 4-course 4-stream.
During the course, students got acquainted with the scheme of obtaining antibiotics by the biotechnological method, starting with the production of strains of microorganisms, received information about the methods of seeding, decomposition of antibiotics, fermentation, nutrient media, process parameters, crushing, extraction, filtration, centrifugation, evaporation during the extraction of the resulting drugs.
